CLEARFIELD - John Edwin Haacke, age 36, passed away December 11, 1982, in an Ogden hospital as a resultg of a truck-pedestrian accident.
Born March 5, 1946 in Logan, Utah, son of Karl J. and Mary Park Haacke. Employed at Hill Air Force Base. He had lived in Logan, Layton, and Clearfield since 1952. Graduate of Clearfield High School. Active member of the Clearfield 5th LDS Ward. Served an LDS mission to the Louisiana Mission. Engaged in genealogy work for the Church and was a temple worker.
Survived by; mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Hamblin of Clearfield; one brother and one sister; Carl Marlin Haacke, San Diego, California; Mrs. Sheldon (Joan) Child, Syracuse, Utah; grandfather John M. Park, Layton; five nephews and three nieces. Preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15, 1982
at 11 a.m. in the Clearfield 5th Ward Chapel, 326 Center Street. Friends may call at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and at the Ward Chapel on Wednesday 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Interment, Bountiful Cemetery.
