Robert Kyle Burnside - 21 of Pendleton died in a car accident on August 2, 2010 in Sherman County Oregon.

Rosary will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, August 5, at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Pendleton.

Services will be at 9:00am on Friday, August 6, at St. Andrew's Church in Mission, followed by burial at St. Andrew's Cemetery.

A meal will follow at Mission Longhouse. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary's Outreach, Pendleton Wrestling Club, Rollin Schimmel Foundation, or the Pendleton Cross Country Teams.

Kyle was born in Portland, Oregon on December 1, 1988.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was a daredevil at heart and enjoyed rock climbing, long boarding, running, wrestling, boxing, and outdoor activities.

He graduated from Pendleton High School in 2007.

He attended Mt. Hood and Blue Mountain Community Colleges.

He was employed at Wildhorse Golf Course and Kock Ranches in Sherman County.

People were drawn to Kyle's fun personality.

He was witty, and loved playing practical jokes and making people laugh.

He also had a serious side, such as the time he asked about and was given an old car full of junk out of a yard on the reservation.

After cleaning out the entire trunk and passenger compartment, he got his dad to help him mechanic on it, and then gave it away to a family that he knew needed a car.

Kyle was a great brother and friend.

He lived life to the fullest and loved with his whole heart.

He was rich in friends of all ages.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Dean Burnside.
