MUNCIE--John H. Curtis, 47, son of Muncie resident Wanda W. Curtis, died January 21, 2004, in Nashville, Tenn., of injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was born in Atlanta, Ga., February 17, 1956, moved to the Yorktown area with his family, and graduated from Yorktown High School in 1974. He was a brick mason.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Alexa Wallace (husband-Jim), Muncie; his brother, Mike Curtis, Cincinnati; three nephews, and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lex H. Curtis.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Riverside Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Jon Singer officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2831 N. Oakwood, Muncie, IN 47304, or to the Muncie Noon Optimist, Box 727, Muncie, IN 47308. The Meeks Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
