Debra Dee Privett, 44, died Wednesday at home in Yorktown. She was born in Hawthorne, Calif., moved to Yorktown, graduated from Yorktown High School in 1974 and from Ivy Tech in Muncie. She lived in Yorktown most of her life and worked at Borg-Warner Automotive for 16 years.
Surviving are two sons, Steven Privett Jr. (wife-Rhonda), Yorktown, and Shawn Privett (fiancee-Cindy Garrett), Muncie; her granddaughter, Taylor Privett, Yorktown; her former in-laws, Ralph and Leora Privett, Muncie; and life-long best friends, Donna Daugherty and Becky Miley, both of Muncie.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Meeks Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Alexa Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Calling will be at the mortuary after 11 a.m. Saturday.
