Funeral services were held at the Trinity Lutheran Church Saturday, Rev. L. M. Halling conducted the last rites. Interment was made at the Binford Cemetery.
Mr. Olson came to Binford in 1904 from Eagle Grove, Iowa, where he had farmed since. He was born in Sandeid, Stavanger, Norway, January 31, 1951. Christening, instruction and confirmation took place in the Lutheran church. He spent ten years as a sailor before coming to America in 1880 to settle in Story City and Eagle Grove, Iowa.
August 27, 1887 he was united in marriage to Selia Rugtive, who preceded him in death five months ago. To this union six children were born, Oscar, Seattle, Wash., Willie, Silverton, Ore., Siger, Driscoll, N. D., and Howard, Rudolph and Mrs. Emma Limmesand of Binford.
