STERLING (Staff)-Retired farmer James Edward Walker, 92, died Friday after a two week illness in a Marlow hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the Sterling Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow at the Sterling Cemetery with Rev. Chester Powell officiating. Mr. Walker was born in Cass County, Texas June 18, 1884. He moved to the Sterling area in 1910. He was married in 1911 to the late Minnie Francis Crews. He was a member of the Sterling Assembly of God Church and a resident of the Gregston Nursing Home in Fletcher the past four years. Arrangements are under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home in Fletcher. Survivors including a daughter, Mrs. Sam Wright, of Sterling; a son, James Leo Walker, of Tel Aviv, Israel; a brother, Howard Walker, of Marlow: a sister Mrs. Mary Moore, of Marlow and five grandchildren.
