He was a lifelong resident of Oak Park and an Army veteran of World War II. He was the retired owner and operator of Alberts Garage in Oak Park and a member of Oak Park Church of God.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald Dismuke of Soperton, and Royce and Danny Dismuke, both of Oak Park; two daughters, Ellen Oglesby of Swainsboro and Ina Kerr of Soperton; two brothers, Jake Dismuke of Bloomingdale and William Dismuke of Lyons; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service, Vidalia, with burial in Oak Park City Cemetery.
