JOSEPH BEAVER, 42, DIES AT FAIRLAND
Joseph M. Beaver, 42, of Fairland, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22. The son of Claud and Anna (Schwick) Beaver, he was born in Hamilton County. He moved to Fairland about four years ago where he was a farmer.
On March 7, 1931, he married Roberta Bush and they have one child, Joyce Diane, at home. His wife survives. Also surviving are his mother, Anna (Schwick) Evans; and brothers and sisters, Norvin Beaver, Charles Beaver, Ray Beaver and Mrs. Lillian Anderson, all of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Elizabeth Koon, Greenfield; a half-brother, and two half-sisters, Art Lichtenauer and Mrs. Marie Riddle, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Roy McCord, Fortville.
Funeral services, with the Rev. Archer Shirley, of Wanamaker, officiating, will be held [today at 10:30 a.m.] at Carmony Funeral Home, Shelbyville. Interment will be in Fairland Cemetery.
Note: He died while working on a tractor in a field at his home, near Fairland. He had not been ill and death, caused by a heart attack, was unexpected.
