Jacob Butler, 79 years of age, died at Woodlinville, Wash., Tuesday morning according to word received by relatives at New Haven. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Lucas, and Mrs. Will McDonald. Death was caused by leakage of the heart. Mr. Butler had been a lifelong resident of Allen county. He was a civil war veteran and a member of the K. of P., and I.O.O.F., lodges at New Haven. He was a charter member of the Methodist Protestant church at New Haven.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary Butler, two daughters at whose home he died, four sisters, and one brother.
