She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Coleman Cleere Warhurst; her parents, Jim and Maggie Brown; her siblings, Leona Alerwine, Amzona Farr, Verna Creekmore, Lola Aycock and J. W. Mac Brown.
The funeral service was held on Wednesday, 12 Nov 2003, at the Tharptown Baptist Church with Bro. Chip Martin officiating the services. The burial followed in the Tharptown Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Owen Warhurst, Percy "Bud" Daniel, Jr., Wayne Warhurst, Herman Lane, Charles Fisher and Billy Aycock.
