He graduated from Luther High School in 1979 and enlisted in the United States Armed Force where he served for 2 terms with over 5 years as Military Police. Johnny received his honorable discliarge in 1989. After serving as a Luther Police officer he joined the Oklahoma County Sheriff's department in 1993 and served 17 years as a Reserve Deputy.
Johnny departed this life on Saturday, September 11,2010. He is preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Catherine. He leaves to cherish his memories: his life partner Darlene Phillips; his brothers: Carl (Tomma), Bill (Mary), Jim {Diane), Jerry (Tracy), Larry (Crystal) and Doyle; a sister, Natalien(Bill) Farmer: numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
