MARY L. BLAISING-WOOTON, 73, of rural Fort Wayne died yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital.

The Continental, Ohio, native retired in 1988 as executive secretary for the Arthur J. Blaising Social Center after 20 years, was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 3164 auxiliary and the widow of Arthur Blaising, who died in 1978.

Surviving are her husband, Don; a daughter, Nancy Janes of Fort Wayne; a son, Alan Burill of Melbourne, Fla.; stepdaughters, Dorothy Blaising of New Haven and Carol Smith of Ashley; a sister, Juanita Altimus of Columbus Grove, Ohio; a brother, George Pitney of Continental; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great- grandchildren.

Services are 10 a.m. Thursday in E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, where calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven.

Preferred memorials are gifts to St. Mary's Soup Kitchen.
