Member: United Methodist Church, Ithaca, former trustee and board member; American Legion Post, past commander; Wahoo Coin Club, past president; FOE Aerie 2971 of Wahoo, past Saunders County supervisor. Life member, VFW Post 4502 and Saunders County Historical Society.
Survivors: wife, Roma; son, Heath, Wahoo; parents Leo and Faith, Wahoo; brother, sister-in-law, Steve and Bonnie, Lincoln; mother-in-law, Vera Irene Swanson, Wahoo; granddaughter, Abigail Smith.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, United Methodist Church, Wahoo. The Rev. Marvin Neubauer. Sunrise Cemetery, Wahoo; military rites by American Legion Post 82 and VFW Post 4502. Visitation: 1-8 p.m. Friday, Svoboda Funeral Home, Wahoo; one hour before services, church. Memorial to be established.
