Aaron G. Shively, age 70, died at his home in Kokomo a t 10:10 o’clock Monday morning. Death resulted from paralysis of the throat and heart trouble. Mr. Shively was born in Carroll county March 13, 1865, the son of Henry and Nancy Shively. He was one of seven children. He resided in Kokomo for 30 years and for many years was a mechanic at the Haynes Automobile plant and later at the brass works. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge. Surviving relatives are: The widow, Mrs. Ella (Martin) Shively; a daughter, Wilma, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Dan Brubaker, of western Howard county; Mrs. Sam Shaffer, and Miss Lydia Shively, both of New Paris, Ind., and a brother, Elias Shively, of Flora. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist church in Kokomo, with the Rev. W. P. Pearce officiating. Interment was made in the South Union cemetery.
