The body of Pvt. Kenneth E. Brewer, killed in an explosion Tuesday afternoon at Camp Maxey, was sent by Brown-Roden Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon on the Texas and Pacific train to Gallipolis, Ohio, for burial, the military escort being Technician Fifth Grade William C. Demeck.
Private Brewer, whose wife lives in Reading, Pa., was in Headquarters Company 2, Infantry Advanced Placement Training Center, Camp Maxey.
