"Jim" James moved his family to Nebraska in 1869, being one of the earliest settlers in that state, later they moved to Kansas. They lived in Kansas for about 28yrs.

Mrs. J. M. Losey died at her home in Cuba, Kansas and funeral services were held at the Ida Church followed by interment in the Ida cemetry. The deceased leaves a husband , three sons, and a daughter.

Word was received of the death of Grandfather Losey at his home in Colorado. The body expected to arrive at Hubbell this (Thursday) and interment will be in the Ida Cemetery.
Mr. Losey a former resident of this city (Cuba) had left for Albuquerque N.M. where he had a son living. After a stay with his son he decided to make his home with his daughter in Colorado. He still owned a residence in Cuba at the time of his death.
