PRINCETON — James Chester Coleman, Jr., 85, of Princeton, died Friday, September 17, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Va. Born September 15, 1925 in Pike, Ky., he was the son of the late James Chester Coleman and Lillian Mae Goodman Coleman. He was a retired truck driver and was of the Catholic faith. In addition to his parents, his wife, Margaret Marie Taylor Coleman; two daughters, Imogene Hunt and Connie Sue Coleman; an infant son, Jonny Ray Coleman; three sisters, Violet May, Rosie Goodman, and Dorothy Coleman; and three brothers, Edward Coleman, Danny Coleman, and Donald Coleman preceded him in death. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Survivors include eleven children, several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Princeton with Mary White as eulogist. Those attending the graveside service are asked to meet at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton by 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
