Descendant of the Evan Watkins Family line.

Evan was the owner of Watkins Ferry when George Washington, General Braddock and Daniel Boone crossed it on the way to the battle of Fort Duquesne. Evan, the Ferry and his home Maidstone on the Potomac are all written about in George Washington's private papers archived at the University of Virginia.

His named appeared in 2010 in a book titled "The Descendants of Josiah Boone I and II" who are his 4th and 5th great grandfather's. The father of Josiah Boone I was George Boone IV, son of George Boone III and Mary Milton Mogridge, grandparents of Daniel Boone.

The book confirms he is a double 1st cousin 7 times removed to Daniel.
