Lifelong West Finley Resident Passes Away
Riley Sprowls Dies in 80th Year Following Brief Illness- Funeral Services This Afternoon.
WEST FINLEY, Nov.26-Riley Sprowls, a life-long resident of West Finley Township died of complications this morning at 10 o'clock in the home of a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary H. Sprowls. Mr. Sprowls, who was in his 80th year, had been ill for only two weeks.
He leaves the following children: Lawrence Sprowls of Rochester,NY; Ott Sprowls of New Kensington & Mrs C.E.Moore of West Finley. A brother, Wilson Sprowls, lives in Waterford,Ohio, & a sister, Mrs. Jeannette Scott in Claysville. His wife Lizzie Lawrence Sprowls, died a number of years ago.
Funeral Services will be held in the home of Mrs. Mary H. Sprowls, Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock in charge of Rev. John Winwood, pastor of the Fairmount United Brethren Church. Interment will be in West Finley Cemetery.
