Death certificate has birth as 1837. I do not think so,
I go thru a lot of death certificate records and find that once in a while the person giving the information gave the wrong information and then is placed on the certificate.
#1. I checked the 1900 census and Nancy herself gave her birth date as June 1836 as her birth date.
#2. Then the information on the tombstone placed there by family also has 1836.
#3. On her marriage certificate Nancy has birth year also as1836.
