Funeral services were held in Canadian Monday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. for Mrs. Mary Catherine Schlote Yeager at the First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Yeager was born in Missouri on June 22, 1874. She was married to Henry C. Yeager on October 19, 1898.
She was one of Canadian's old timers and her husband ran a grocery store here for many years. Mrs. Yeager left here about 1937 to make her home at Wichita Falls with her daughter, Mrs. Edgar Adams. She had been in poor health for the past few years becoming worse this last year. She became seriously ill about four weeks ago and was taken to the hospital at Wichita Falls where she passed away.
She is survived by two sons, Walter and Melvin Yeager of near Canadian; one daughter, Mrs. Edgar Adams of Wichita Falls; and one granddaughter, Laura Faye Adams.
