She was born on December 21, 1922, in Salem, S.D. but has lived in the area for the past 34 years.
She was a very active member at Immanuel Lutheran Church as well as various square dance clubs and Sons of Norway.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Orville E. Anderson of Salem, S.D. and J. Lloyd Hanson of Silverton.
She is survived by sisters, Florence (Don) Kietzmann of Woodburn and Clara Welbon of Salem, S.D.; sons, Martin of Portland, Ralph (Joy) of Salem, and Virgil (Twila) Anderson of Silverton; daughter, Lois (Philip) Heine of Fairbanks, Alaska; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. A prayer vigil with viewing will be at 7 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 5, at Unger Funeral Home. Services will be at 4 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 6, at Immanuel Lutheran in Silverton. Arrangements are by Unger Funeral Chapel.
