Rufus B. Askew, 65, Pauls Dr., Brandon, died in a Tampa hospital Thursday. A native of Georgia, he lived in the area 40 years. He was a Baptist and was employed by Tampa Electric Co. for 40 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Susie Mae Askew, Brandon; two sons, Eugene E. Askew and Otis W. Askew, both of Brandon; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Maxwell, of Land-O-Lakes, and Mrs. Mary Lou Price of Brandon; two brothers, Monroe Askew, of Brandon and Alfred Askew, of Bainbridge, Ga.; and one sister, Mrs. Lucille Hunter of Tampa.
