A. J. Davis, son of Elder C. C. Davis, was born Nov.28, 1879 and died Nov.29,
1950.
He was married to Lizzie Farmer Davis Feb. 11, 1899.
To this union was born one child who died in infancy.
He professed a hope in Christ and joined the church at Pond Mountain, Sat.,
March 1st, 1902, where he remained a faithful member until death-always filling
his place in the church. He was one among our most devoted members. Strong
defender of the doctrine of salvation by grace. Our loss is his eternal gain.
Sleep on dear one until the Lord awakes you in his likeness.
