Mrs Holdeman had been ill 16 months.
She was born May 4, 1855, in Ohio, the daughter of Nicholas and Rebecca (Aikens) Wagner.
Mr Holdeman now aged 98 years, to whom she was married in 1871, survives, with four sons, David Holderman of Nappanee, Henry and Roy Holderman, Warsaw and Nicholas Holderman of Etna Green; three daughters, Mrs Daisy Holderman, Nappanee, Mrs Mary Maples, Tamarack, Minn and Mrs Emma Kring, Argos; three brothers, Albert Wagner, Nappanee, Wallace Wagner, Syracuse and Perry Wagner, Elkhart; 41 grandchildren; 75 great grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Mr and Mrs Holderman have lived in their present home southwest of Nappanee for 48 years.
