William Augustus Albert, son of Daniel and Catherine Albert, was born near Hennepin, Ill., on November 19, 1854 and died at the home of his brother, J.B. Albert in Florid on July 31, 1922, age 67 years, 8 months and 12 days. He had been ailing for several months but few of his friends knew the end was so near. He was of quiet retiring disposition and had many friends by whom he will be greatly missed. The funeral service was held at the home on Wednesday afternoon, August 2, 1922, conducted by Rev. R. Reeves with internment in the Florid cemetery.
