Edward "Junior" Bone of Old Mines, Missouri was born on Wednesday, November 16, 1927 a son of the late, Virginia (Skiles) Bone and Edward Bone. "Junior" departed this life on Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-two years, nine months and eleven days.

"Junior" was united in marriage to Martha Celeste Juliette on November 26, 1947 at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Old Mines, Missouri.

Edward is survived by his wife, Celeste Bone of Old Mines, Missouri; four daughters, Barbara Malia and husband, Dale of Perry, Missouri, Lisa Molly and husband, Ed of Imperial, Missouri, Vicki Haynes and husband, Tom of Old Mines, Missouri, Gina Hall and husband, Dan of Bonne Terre, Missouri; five sons, Gary Bone and wife, Charlotte of Walnut Hill, Illinois, David Bone and wife, Judy of Hillsboro, Missouri, Ronald Bone and wife, Debra of Old Mines, Missouri, Kevin Bone and Cathy Pashia of Springtown, Missouri, Randy Bone and wife, Lisa of Cadet, Missouri; one brother, Virgil Bone of Cannon Mines, Missouri; thirty grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; sister-in-law, Margaret Bone of Old Mines, Missouri; dear and special friends, Walter and Virginia Reando Family; also surviving are other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, "Junior" was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Bone, two sons, James Bone, Eddie Bone, one sister, Kathleen Juliette, three brothers, Jesse Bone, Francis Bone, Floyd Bone and one grandson, Christopher.

"Junior" enjoyed family gatherings and getting to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He loved spending time outdoors going hunting, fishing, golfing and baseball.
He was also an avid Cardinals fan, when they were winning. "Junior" also enjoyed going bowling and playing horseshoes.
He was a kind and generous man who will be deeply missed by the many lives he has touched.

Visitation was held Monday, August 30, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Monsignor James Hanson officiating.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Honoring "Junior" by serving as pallbearers were: Ryan Bone, Minnow Courtway, Pat Bone, Shannon Bone, Matt Bone, Andy Bone, Ben Bone, Jason Bone, Garrett Bone, Nate Molly, Nick Molly, Casey Molly and Gus Haynes.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
