Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday (February 15, 1977) in Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mrs. Elise Carriere, the former Elise Savoy, 78, of Church Point, who died at 6:30 a.m. today in the Rayne Guest Home, following a long illness.
Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Guidry's Funeral Home of Church Point.
Survivors include two sons, Milton Caarriere of Church Point and Wilson Carriere of Sulphur; two daughters, Mrs. Enola LeDoux of Church Point and Mrs. Oliver Guidry of Cecilia; a sister, Mrs. Cora Leger of Eunice; a number of step-children; 12 grand-children and nine great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be said at 8:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
