ALSNAUER: Edith Kiefer Alsnauer was called home on May 30, 2009. She was born on December 23, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pa. She is predeceased by her father William Kiefer, mother Elizabeth Kiefer and her sister Wilma Wissner. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Raymond and their children, Martha A. Smith and husband, James, Karl W. Alsnauer and wife, Cheryl Kalson and William R. Alsnauer and wife, Pastor Karen Asmus-Alsnauer. Edith had six grandchildren, Scott J. Smith, Carissa Jackson, Janna Alsnauer, Evan Alsnauer, Braden Alsnauer and Molly Alsnauer; and one great- grandson, Trey Jackson; foster grandchildren, Liliane and Kristina Truoung. Friends and family will be received from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Oh. 43085. Funeral service to be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 East Stanton Ave, Columbus, Oh. 43214. Pastor Henry Langknecht will officiate. Graveside service12Noon on June 5 at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pa. Contributions may be made in Edith's memory to Gethsemane Lutheran Church
