Services Set For Victim

ALGER - Funeral services for Paul Dean Scott, 24, of Four Acres, who was killed Saturday afternoon by an Erie passenger train, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hanson Funeral Home in Alger.

Rev. Willard Thomas will officiate and burial will be in the Norman Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until time for services.

Scott and his family were en-route home from the grocery store when his car was struck at the Main street crossing. Authorities report Scott's vision was possibly blocked by a large truck also crossing the tracks.

Paul Scott was born July 11, 1937, in Hardin County. He was the son of Donald and Laura Mullins Scott who survives at Rt. 1, Alger.

Also surviving are his wife, Violet; a daughter, Judy; sons, Dean and Garry; two brothers, Charles and Ronald, both of Rt. 2, Kenton.

His wife, Violet, and daughter, Judy, patients in Hardin County Memorial Hospital were reported in fair condition today by hospital attaches.
