Jul Anderson came to the U. S. at the age of 17 to Rochester, Minn. He lived at Rochester until 1909 at which time he moved to Evansville township, Douglas county and farmed. He was married to Andrea Nelson at Byron, Minn. They farmed in Evansville township until they retired at which time they moved into Evansville for several years.
Mrs. Anderson died in 1943 and since that time Mr. Anderson had made his home with his son, George, in Evansville. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Adolph Larson (Mae) of Fargo and Mrs. Joe Kunnerth (Alvina) of Fergus Falls; one son, George Anderson of Evansville; one sister, Mrs. Anne Christianson, in Norway. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.
