She was born July 2, 1919, at Brave, Pa., daughter of the late Jess and Bertha May King Phillips.
She was a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter and spouse, Patty and Nehemiah Kassay, of Daybrook; a sister, Nellie Cox, of Virginia; three grandchildren, Michael Kassay, Nehemiah Kassay and spouse, Amy, Milisia Lybarger and spouse, John; and a great-granddaughter, Caitlyn Grace Kassay.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. (Jack) Shriver, Nov. 2, 1993; and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville from 6-9 p.m. Thursday. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 19, 2004, with the Rev. Stacy L. Groscup officiating. Burial will follow in Lemley Cemetery.
