William J. Miller died very suddenly at his home near Reynoldsdale on Wednesday, September 1, 1909 of apoplexy. He was in his 39th year and leaves to mourn his wife who was Miss Jennie Moore and the following children: Ella, Elsie, Anson, Forrest, Georgie and Lloyd, all at home.

He is survived by his father, Solomon Miller, five brothers and four sisters. By his death the family has lost a kind husband and father and the community in which he lived, a good neighbor. Mr. Miler had been a member of the U.B. Church of Helixville for a number of years until last May when he united with the Evangelical Association at Pine Grove. The funeral was held on Friday, Sept 3 in the reformed church at Fishertown by his Pastor, Rev. Conley. Interment in the cemetery adjoining the church.
