According to the records, Harry was admitted to the orphanage on 15 July 1876 by Father J.H. Walter. The record states that Harry had been baptized and that his parents were dead; however, it does not list his parents' names.

Harry was married to Caroline Christina (Hoerl) Myers on 6 Oct 1895 by the Rev. George W. Ebeling at Salem Lutheran Church, Catonsville, Baltimore County, Maryland.

Harry and Carrie lived at 17 Ingleside Avenue in Catonsville.

Harry worked for the Emerson Drug Company for about 42 years, and he retired around 1939/40.
