Sylvia Bickwid Of Middleborough, formerly of Brookline, entered into rest September 9, 2010 at the age of 87. Sylvia was an active resident of the Brookline community for many years and a lifelong member of Hadassah. Her passion and avocation was art and painting. She was a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and for many years took art courses through the adult education program at Brookline High School. Her work, primarily oils and watercolors, was exhibited at the Brookline Community Center for the Arts.
Dear daughter of the late Jacob and Fannie (Epstein) Bickwid. Loving Sister of the late Myrtle Klain. Survived by her devoted cousin and caretaker, Jerry Epstein, as well as many cousins and extended family members. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the dedicated staffs at Hearthstone Assisted Living in Brockton and Golden Living Center at Oak Hill in Middleborough.
