Cleona Maude Surber, 91 of Scottsburg, Indiana died on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 at Scott Villa Living Center in Scottsburg, Indiana.

She was born on March 27, 1919 in Scott County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Howard and Maude (Cravens) Craig.

Cleona was a former employee of the old U.S. Shoe Corporation in Crothersville, Indiana, a member of the New Providence Baptist Church, Scott Memorial Hospital Guild and the Scott County Historical Society.

Survivors include a daughter; Priscilla A. Sebastian of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, Charles T. (Dorothy) Surber of Columbus, Indiana; a sister, Margaret Baker of Jeffersonville, Indiana, 6 grandchildren, Ryan & Charlie Sebastian, Mandy Engle, Tammy Hanner, Sandra Settle & Sherry Black and 11 great grandchildren, Blake Engle, Ashley & Breanna Maude Sebastian, Kalei Robison, Jeremiah & Cameron Hanner, Paige & Emily Settle, Katy, Allsion & Gage Black.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Max Surber on May 26, 1982; a son, Bruce R. Surber, Jr. and seven brothers, Morris, Mort, Jim, Floyd "Fat", Hubert, Mack & Bob Craig.
