John R Gathright died at the Casa Loma yesterday morning at 3 o'clock of Bright's disease. He was 69 years old. his home was in Louisville, Ky., and he was one of the most prominent citizens of that place. with his wife and daughter he came to Tempe some six weeks ago but for the past ten days has been confined to his bed. The remains were taken in charge by Undertaker A.L.Moore. the disposition of the body has not yet been decided upon as the others of the family wish to remain here if possible until warmer weather.
