OTTUMWA — Loretta Fern Langgin, 92, formerly of 936 Ingersol St., died at 4:50 a.m. Sept. 10, 2010, at The Haven at Sylvan Woods in Ottumwa.

She was born Feb. 27, 1918, in Moulton to Charles Wesley and Iva Mae Marlow Frazier. She married Harold Eugene Langgin July 11, 1935. He preceded her in death Sept. 16, 2006.

She was a member of Evangelistic Foursquare Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Beverly (Frank) Clement of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lorena Anderson of Ottumwa.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Harold Eugene Langgin Jr. and infant LaVerne Langgin; three sisters, Beulah George, Celma Davies and Ruby Richardson; five brothers, Chester, Jesse, Winfield, Paul and Charles Frazier.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Dick Kessler officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Monday with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Monday.

Memorials may be made to Evangelistic Foursquare Church or The Haven.
