Patrick E. Sullivan, 80, died Friday, November 11, at the home of his son Roy C. Sullivan, in Chicago. Remains will arrive here Sunday and funeral services will be held from Immaculate Conception church at 9 a. m. Monday, November 14. He is survived by two sons, C. M. Sullivan, now of Minneapolis but recently of Cherokee; Roy C., of Chicago, four daughters, Mrs. C. S. Lynch of Cherokee; Mrs. J. T. Hogan of Sioux City; Sister Annunziata, Detroit convent; Mrs. C. G. Anderson, Waterloo. The remains will be at the C. S. Lynch home, Cherry & Fifth streets Sunday. Mr. Sullivan was a pensioned Illinois Central railroad supervisor. His wife died a year ago last summer.

Born Cork, Ireland, April 23, 1855; married Bridget "Delia" O'Connell on July 6, 1875 Bremer County, Iowa. Raised six children at Cherokee, Iowa; Mary, Mrs. John Hogan (1876-1958), Martha, Mrs. Charles Lynch (1878-1937), Roy (1880-1949), Claude (1889-1970), Nina, Mrs. Charles Anderson (1892-1979) and Sister Mary (1894-1977). Ten siblings; John (1848-1924), Rev. Timothy (1856-1914), Johanna (1857-1917), Florance (1859-1942), Catherine, Mrs. Ed Flynn (1861-1922), Bridget, Mrs. Peter Murray (1862-1954), Rt. Rev. Michael (1865-1928), Charles (1867-1932), Hannah, Mrs. Dennis Holland (1850-1929) and Mary, Mrs. Cain Holland (1846-1931). Died Chicago on November 11, 1932 at the home of his son Roy Sullivan. Retired railroad superintendent.
