Roy W. Stickney
Roy W. Stickney, 79, of 335 Beach St. passed away in Omaha December 5. He was born March 12, 1891 in Lodgepole, Nebr., and was a retired rancher in the area.
Surviving are his widow, Myrtle Moody Stickney, one son, Wilde Stickney of Pierceton, Ind., a daughter, Mrs. Paul F. (Arlene) Smith of Omaha, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a sister, Cula Burwell, Red Cloud, Nebr and one brother Claude Stickney of Houston, Tex.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church with Rev. Gale Moon officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery with graveside rites conducted by Samaritan Lodge No. 158.
The Erlewine-Hartman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
