MRS. JESSIE RAY AKERS
Of Meadowbrook Terrace, Bedford, died yesterday morning in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital shortly after admission. Mrs. Akers was born April 27, 1897, in Centre County, a daughter of James Ray and Annie Eliza (Johnsonbaugh) Miller, and married C.R. Akers on April 30, 1929. She was of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her husband, one son, S.J. Miller of Altoona; two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen Holtzman of Williamsport. Friends will be received in the Keller Funeral Home, Bedford, from 7 to 9 today.

Steiner in charge. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona. Friends will be received in the Keller Funeral Home, Bedford, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
