Survivors are a son, Keith, Topeka; six grandchildren, a brother, Frank, Abilene and a sister, Mrs. Charles Beaver, Ringgold.
The funeral for Murphy Akins, Minneapolis, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Haley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with Masonic graveside services and military honors by the VFW.
