John Alley, son of Zebediah Jackson Alley (1805-1888) and Nancy Ann (Peabody) Alley (1811-1858), married 1st Sarah Robinson (1843-1865), in Harrington, Washington, Maine, 14 Oct 1864. John and Sarah had no children. After Sarah's death in 1865, John married Betsey L Alley (maiden name unknown), sometime in 1866. Together John & Betsey had a son, John R Alley, born Dec 1867. John Alley died in May 1868 and his son, John R, died June 1868. John, Sarah and John R are all interred in the Beals Village Cemetery.
