She was born September 6, 1904 to Calvin and Jenny (Woodhouse) Beatty in Richmond. She married Vernon Fockler on November 22, 1922.
Evelyn is survived by sons, Robert Fockler of Attica, Richard (and wife, Deolores) Fockler of Davison; daughter, Dolores Bollon of Lapeer; 5 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Michaelis of Arizona; nieces; relatives; friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; daughter, Shirley Delehanty; son-in-law, Vernon Bollon; brothers, Floyd Beatty, Edward Beatty; sisters, Irene Patterson, Vivian O'Halloran.
Visitation will be today (Sunday), 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Baird-Newton Funeral Home, Lapeer. Services will be Monday, 11 a.m. at the Hunter's Creek Church. The Rev. Peter DeKlerk will officate. Burial will be in Stiles Cemetery.
