Ainie Ellyson
Ainie Sumpter Ellyson, 1500 32nd St. S., died Thursday night in a local nursing home at 92. She had lived at the Downtowner Apartments before entering the nursing home five months ago.
Mrs. Ellyson was born and reared in Clarence, Mo., and married Leland T. Ellyson there in 1903. After his death in 1940 she came to Montana, operating the cigar counter in the Placer Hotel in Helena for a short time and then coming to Great Falls. She operated the Park Hotel and Hotel Rainbow cigar counters for a number of years. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors are a nephew, Leslie Noel, Helena; grandnephew, James M. Greytak, Great Falls, and grandniece, June B. Swenson, Stockett, and other nephews in Michigan and Missouri.
Funeral services and burial will be Monday in Clarence, Mo. The body will be forwarded Sunday from Croxford & Sons Mortuary.
