Mrs. Stewart, the widow of Ray Stewart who died in 1952, was pronounced dead Tuesday night upon arrival at a St Joseph hospital. She was a native of Harrison county. She was a past noble grand of Ideal Rebekah Lodge and a past district deputy president of the Rebekahs. She also belonged to the Women of the Moose and the auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include two sons, George R. Stewart of St Joseph and Charles H. Stewart of Santa Clara, Cal.; two stepsons, Gilbert Stewart of Beatrice, Neb., and Charles W. Stewart of St Joseph; one daughter, Mrs. Grace E. Esely of St Joseph; four brothers, Louis, Lambert, Frank and George Bush, all of St Joseph; and three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Kays, Mrs. Louise Hale and Mrs. Cora Michel, all of St Joseph."
