Chalnessa Some researchers have these as her given name. I chose to only put Adeline for this is what stone carries.
Note: I feel that her given name could have been
"CLEMENTINE" Adaline. A descendant from Davis line who I had talked with over 15 years ago claims that a uncle she had said her name was this and also Martha named her daughter Clementine. This is not proven but just my assessment. (Peggy Sprinkles)

Some sources has her name as Adaline Chalnipa Malissa Davis for this is what I had when I first started searching some 20 years ago. The Malissa is not accurate:

Her stone reads born Aug. 02, 1843 died Sept. 28, 1915 Rita Woods/ Crowe granddaughter had her born on Dec. 25 and the way she documented it was that Pearl's Sister to Rita was the same day as her grandma's.
The stone was at site placed years later by William Henry's side of the family. The stone isn't on the correct spot the original stone was a rock my parents showed me all my life where Adaline was buried.
