Christine Perry, 90, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at her home in Muskogee. She was born October 26, 1919 in Vivian, Oklahoma to Albert Thomas Nichols and Mattie Lou Francis Hardcastle Nichols. Christine married Carl Leo Perry on January 15, 1938 at Oldham Memorial Baptist Church where she was a member throughout her life. Christine was a loving wife and mother and loved being around her family. She worked at the Veterans Hospital in Muskogee for 20 years until her retirement in 1980. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Carl Leo Perry in December, 1994; two sons, Joe Allen Perry of Bixby and Bill Eugene Perry of Muskogee; four brothers and four sisters. Christine is survived by her two sons, Don Perry and his wife, Janet, and Steve Perry, all of Hulbert; daughter Judy Mann and her husband, Roger, of Haskell; daughter-in-law, Becky Perry of Muskogee; eleven grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Fosters' Ivory Chapel with Rev. Glen Little officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenny Perry, Troy Perry, James Perry, Danny Perry, Dustin Mann, Roger King, Brandon Evans, Cole Richards, Joseph Perry and Dwayne Perry. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
