GALESBURG - Floyd Raymond Calhoun, 65, of 820 E. Fifth St. died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at Cottonwood Health Care Center. Born Aug. 6, 1935, in Abingdon to Charles E. and Minnie O. Tinkham Calhoun, he married Pat Logsdon. She preceded him in death. Surviving are one daughter, Gaynelle Calhoun of Monmouth; three granddaughters; and two brothers, including his twin, Lloyd Sr. of Galesburg, and Charles Sr. of Abingdon. He was employed by Monmouth Pottery in Monmouth. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Galesburg. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Abingdon Cemetery in Abingdon. The Rev. Darren Palmer will officiate. There will be no visitation. Watson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
