Angeline M. Kitner, 72, of Carlisle, died Wed., Feb. 13, 2008 at home.

A daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Rice Holloway, she was born April 9, 1935 in Carlisle. She was the widow of Ray W. Kitner, to whom she was married for over 50 years.

Mrs. Kitner retired as a manager for Amareda-Hess Service Centers and had also been employed at Woolworth's at the former M J Mall and Walmart.

She was an avid gardner and loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Kathryn Schlusser, a daughter: Brenda Pennabaker, grand daughter: Stacy Rebert and great grand daughter: Nicole McClintock.

Surviving are two sons: Rodney Kitner of Newburg; Roger Kitner, address unknown; two daughters: Judy Turner of Kentucky; Linda Rebert, address unknown; four sisters: Margaret Mitchell ; Mary Hench; Pauline Wardecker, all of Carlisle and Shirley Sheets of Perry County; four brothers: James Holloway of Shermans Dale; Charles Holloway and Raymond Holloway, both of Carlisle and Kenneth Holloway of Shermans Dale; nine Grandchildren; six Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008 at 11:00 a. m. from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. The Rev. Darrel R. Justh will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Shermans Dale. There will be no viewing, however, friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
